Well... it's been awhile DA. I can't say that I didn't miss you. I've been really busy, but I think I finally have time and motivation and the will to draw again. That actually started awhile back when I moved back to Orlando. Although, even then, I wasn't really feeling able to art again. Not until, well, I've gotten back to my roots, as a geek.
Yes, I admit it, I'm an unabashed geek. I don't know why I ever tried to be anything else. But regardless, I'm back, baby! And the greatest part of being a nerd is that everything becomes inspirational and that I don't feel the need to hold back when I want to draw Pokemon or paint an epic painting of Robot Unicorn Attack (Heavy Metal.) And my epically awesome friends (and Boyfriend) have been trying to get me to do more art. I have agreed. And when I finally finish some of the painted pieces, I'll try to post them again.
I really need to figure out how to connect Klaus to my HP printer/scanner thing.
Oh, DA, meet Klaus. Klaus is my new NV53 Gateway laptop with Windows 7. And he actually works. The computer upon which most of my deviations have been scanned and uploaded from, my old desktop "Frankie," (yes, short for Frankenstein computer, as she has various parts from various other computers,) is currently inoperable until I reformat her, and resurrect her from a blue screen slow death. I *think* I managed to save most of my old art onto a Seagate external. But Seagate is an idiot and not able to organize anything to where I can find *ANY* of my old art, so this is kind of like an *all new* start for my DA account.
So... what will you be able to look forward to, DA?
Well, I have two large paintings of Robot Unicorn Attack (totally inspired by ~Edheloth 's awesome RUA picture, as seen in my favorites) and a Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal painting. I have been working on trying to do a whole series of pictures of various random people, so I can work on poses and clothing/hairstyles (yup, exceptionally basic stuff,) to which I managed to almost finish two full pictures. Also, since Boyfriend is pretty much my geequal (yup, I did just combine the words "geek" and "equal,") he will also be giving me "projects." If I can get him to do it, I'll post the small painting of the 8bit metroid that I painted for (1 out of 4 presents for) his birthday. And... and I've been dorking out on FB with this app/game called eVille. They were asking for some ideas for new villainesses, and well, I have some ideas. I love super-science and villainy- MWUAH-HAHAHA!
And there's more stuff, but roommate is cooking something that smells like magic and I'm getting distracted.
Oh! And I got laid off from work on Friday because B&N is outsourcing all of its Digital Support to overseas, so, I've got some free time to actually do art now in between looking for jobs and whatnot.
So... that's about it.
